My Child Is Too Young for Camp — What to Do at Off The Wall Kids for Ages 0–3 (London)

Your six-year-old is registered for camp. Your two-year-old is not. Now what?

Camp at Off The Wall Kids (**539 First St, East London**, Argyle near Fanshawe College) is **ages 4–12 only** — no exceptions. Here is what families with **babies, toddlers, and three-year-olds** do instead, and how to plan **things to do in London** when only some of your kids are in camp.

"Why 4–12 only"

Our camp license requires campers to be **at least 4 years old**. Anyone **older than 12** is too old for our camp program — especially in a mixed group that includes four-year-olds.

That is legal and licensing — not a preference we can bend for one family.

"PA Days and school breaks — under 4"

**Three-year-olds and younger** use the building as **parent-supervised drop-in play** — pay admission, stay with your child, socks and waivers for everyone past admission.

Camp kids follow camp drop-off rules. Non-camp siblings do not join the camp floor.

"Sibling split day — what it looks like"

**Six-year-old in camp:** you drop off at camp admission; counsellors have them for the camp day. You do **not** need to supervise that child during camp hours.

**Two-year-old not in camp:** you supervise them as **drop-in play** — stay in the building, hands-on parenting.

**Can you stay on site with a toddler while your other child is in camp?** Yes — but parents tell us it often **distracts the camper** and can **ruin the camp experience** for the registered child. Many families prefer drop-in on a different day instead.

Smaller daycare outings can email **info@offthewallkids.com** — but most families with littles simply **book drop-in individually**.

"Realistic expectations"

Under-four drop-in is welcome year-round — including camp weeks. The building will **not** be empty. Other families, parties, and camp programming mean noise and activity. Parents love quiet days; we cannot promise them on peak weeks.

After camp pickup, the whole family can still hit the **donut slide** and **ballistics arena** on a future drop-in day.

Too young for camp rapid-fire

Age 3 camp? **No — drop-in with parent.** Age 4 minimum? **Yes — licensing.** Stay with toddler during camp? **Allowed — but can distract camper.** Over 12? **Too old for camp.** Facility empty on camp weeks? **No — plan for activity.**
