Day camp operates from 8:30am – 4:30pm.
Extended care is available from 7:30am – 8:30am and 4:30pm – 5:30pm.
Only those indicated on the registration forms as authorized pick-up may pick up your child. For your child's safety, no exceptions are made. Authorized pick-ups must be 16 years of age or older. Photo ID is required every day at pick-up.

Families who are late picking up their child will be charged an additional $15.

Drop Off & Pick Up Procedure
Within 15 minutes of drop-off beginning, the Supervisor will be at the Admissions desk to accept registered campers.
- Extended Care: Drop-off begins 7:30am · Pick-up closes 5:30pm
- Regular Camp: Drop-off begins 8:30am · Pick-up closes 4:30pm
The Supervisor will greet each family, complete the screening checklist, and sign in the camper. We recommend filling out a waiver for your camper online before drop-off — each camper requires a signed waiver before entry.
At pick-up, parents/guardians must produce photo ID. The Supervisor will verify that the adult is authorized to pick up the camper. Your child will only be released to those listed as authorized. Photo ID is checked every day. Notify the Supervisor of any changes to authorized pick-ups.
Sign In & Sign Out
All campers must be signed in and out each day by a parent/guardian 16 years of age or older. At sign-in you will indicate who is picking up your camper. Please notify the Supervisor of any changes to authorized pick-ups.
Talking to Your Child's Counsellor
We encourage parent communication. If you have questions or concerns about your child's day camp experience, please speak to the day camp Site Director — they will help you out.

What to Bring to Camp
Campers are responsible for their belongings. Dress for active play — avoid new or expensive clothing. Proper footwear is essential: we recommend socks with rubber grip and running shoes. Check the weather each morning. Label everything (iron-on labels or permanent marker). Your camper should help pack their backpack so they know what they have. Off The Wall Kids cannot accept responsibility for items lost at camp or in transit.
- Signed waiver online (typically valid for one year)
- Appropriate clothing for weather (jacket, rain gear, rubber boots if needed)
- Comfortable closed-toe footwear & socks (rubber grip preferred; socks required in facility)
- Sun hat and sunscreen (waterproof, minimum SPF 30)
- Refillable water bottle
Lunches & Snacks
Campers choose from our regular menu for lunch (e.g. hot dogs, pizza, chicken nuggets, fries). We offer fruit and veggies throughout the day and morning and afternoon snacks (e.g. yogurt, granola, cinnamon toast, cheerios, mini muffins).
Please tell us about any food allergies. Lunch options vary by day; snacks are typically chosen by the counsellor for the group. We welcome you to review lunch choices with your child before camp.
What Not to Bring
No outside food or drink (except personal water bottles), music devices, video games, knives, cell phones, matches, pets, personal toys, or playing/trading cards. Off The Wall Kids is not responsible for lost, broken, or stolen items.
Lost & Found
Lost and found items are kept at the camp site for one week. Socks and underwear are not kept. Unclaimed items are disposed of after that time.
Inclement & Hot Weather
Activities are modified as needed for camper safety. In hot weather we provide frequent water breaks, water activities, less active games, and use of shaded and cooler areas so campers enjoy a fun and safe experience.
Camper Behavior
Safety and an enjoyable experience for all are our goals. If a camper's behavior threatens safety or diminishes the experience for others, we will work to correct it and notify parents/guardians. Continued behavior may result in a one-day suspension. Off The Wall Kids reserves the right to remove a camper for the remainder of the session and/or future sessions; no refund will be granted. In serious cases (e.g. safety risk or illegal activity), removal may be immediate. No refunds or cost recovery are provided for dismissal.
Camper Health & Well-being
Staff are trained in First Aid. We have a quiet rest area if your child is ill. For medical attention beyond minor injuries, we ensure staff-accompanied transport to the nearest hospital or call an ambulance. We will contact you or your emergency contacts and stay with your child until you arrive. You may be billed for additional costs. Campers must be toilet trained prior to attending day camp.
Medications
Medications must be in original packaging, clearly labeled with the child's name and instructions. Staff collect medications each morning for secure storage. Medications that require immediate use (e.g. asthma inhaler, EpiPen) stay with the child or counsellor. Parents must complete a Medication Administration Form.
Reporting an Absence
Email daycamp@offthewallkids.ca or call 519-914-0551 to report an absence in advance. For unforeseen absence, call first thing that morning. If a camper is not present at morning attendance and no absence was reported, we will call the contacts on the registration form.
Weekly Registration Closure
Registration for camp closes Wednesday at midnight prior to the start of the following week.
Withdrawal & Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted by email to daycamp@offthewallkids.ca. Include the camper's first and last name. Cancellations received more than 7 days before the camp session receive a refund less the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations received less than 7 days before the session or during the session do not qualify for a refund. A doctor's note is required for medical or COVID-19-related cancellations.
Off The Wall Kids may cancel any program if registration is insufficient. Families are notified at the weekly registration close. Deposits are automatically refunded if a program is cancelled.
