What to Bring to Off The Wall Kids — First Visit Checklist for London Families

You are five minutes from 539 First St. Someone in the back seat is shoeless. Nobody can remember if waivers were done.

Here is the **first visit checklist** for Off The Wall Kids — our indoor playground in **East London** (Argyle, near Fanshawe College) — so your family gets through admission and into the **donut slide** and **ballistics arena** without the parking-lot panic.

"The two things that stop families at the counter"

**1. Socks.** Everyone who comes **past the admission counter** needs socks — **any age**, playing or not. Babies, parents, grandparents — everyone. We are a **socks-only facility** past admission (shoes stay in the coat/shoe area).

We **strongly recommend grip socks** for slides and structures. We **only sell branded grip socks** at admission — plain socks from home are fine, but grip socks give better traction and we recommend them for safety on climbs and slides.

**Mobility accommodation:** **shoe covers** are available at the counter for adults who need them — ask staff.

**Washrooms:** you may wear **shoes into the washroom**, but socks must be back on before returning to the play floor.

**2. Waivers.** Everyone past the counter needs a signed waiver — playing or not.

**Digital waivers** signed on our website are valid **12 months**. **Paper waivers** at the counter are valid for **that visit only**.

We look up waivers by **name and phone number**. One supervising adult can list children in their household (ages 0–17) on a single waiver. **Additional adults** can be added to the same waiver — typically same household; grandparents are usually fine. Each person still needs to be on the waiver, and the waiver must be **submitted** before entry. Adding names but not finishing submission is a common delay.

**Kids' birthdays** can be noted on the waiver.

"The fast family vs. the line family"

Picture two families arriving at the same time:

**Family A** completed **digital waivers at home** and **paid online**. They take off shoes and coats, give name and phone at the counter, and head in.

**Family B** walks in cold. They wait in line, get sent to the kiosk for waivers, realize **dad needs his own waiver too**, go back in line, then hit a **payment issue** before finally getting in.

Both are welcome — walk-ins are always fine — but Family A's process is roughly **three times faster**. Not because we favour them. Because the counter work is already done.

"Payment"

We accept **all payment methods**. **E-transfer** may take longer because staff must confirm receipt. No minimum for credit transactions.

Booking online saves about **$1 per ticket** and reserves your spot on busy days — recommended, not required: bookeo.com/off_the_wall_bookings

**Unlimited Play Until We Close** for online bookings and walk-ins (last slot ends at closing time).

"What not to bring"

**Outside food and drink** are not allowed in the facility (party rooms have separate cake/cupcake rules for booked parties).

Most families find what they want on our concession menu — check before you pack a drive-thru run: offthewallkids.ca/menu

A **medium pizza** from our kitchen is often under $20 and can tide everyone over until home.

"Strollers, babies, and breastfeeding"

**Strollers** are allowed — please be mindful of **wet wheels** on the play floor; that is a slip hazard.

**Baby food** is fine. **Breastfeeding** is welcome anywhere in the facility. If a party room is vacant, families sometimes use it for privacy — we also offer a **private prayer room** when requested. **Change tables** are in both men's and women's washrooms.

**Ages 0–23 months** have a lower admission rate. **One adult per child is free** on drop-in. See live rates: offthewallkids.ca/admission-pricing

"Supervision rules"

We are a **parent-supervised facility**. A supervising adult must stay on site and must be **18 or older**. Our staff are required to **contact police** if a child has been left on site without a proper supervisor — this has happened before. Please do not leave children unattended.

"Lockers and lost items"

**Lockers are coming** in the future. If something is misplaced, find a staff member — we will help you look.

"What parents notice first — sightlines"

Our **U-shaped layout** puts the eating area up the centre so you can sit with coffee and still see kids in the play structure, the party room hallway, concession, bathrooms, and front entrance. Mixed ages can play in different zones without losing visual contact — a big reason families pick us for **things to do in London** indoors.

London families have voted us **Best Indoor Playground** two years in a row through **Community Votes**.
