Camp Drop-Off & Pick-Up at Off The Wall Kids — Photo ID, Authorized Pickups & What Parents Should Know (London)

You registered for camp. Monday morning hits. Someone asks: "Do I need ID to pick up my kid?"

**Yes. Every day. No exceptions.**

This is the parent guide for **PA Day, summer, March Break, and Winter Break camp** at Off The Wall Kids (**539 First St, East London**, Argyle near Fanshawe College) — drop-off flow, pick-up security, forms, and how camp is different from walking in for **things to do in London** as a drop-in family.

"Camp vs. drop-in — same building, different product"

**Camp (ages 4–12)** is a registered full-day program with counsellors, lunch included, and strict drop-off/pick-up rules.

**Drop-in play** is parent-supervised — pay admission, stay with your kids, unlimited play until close.

If your child is **not registered for camp**, you are a drop-in family even during camp weeks. If your child **is registered**, follow camp procedures — you are not joining camp as a drop-in parent on the camp floor.

"Drop-off — what happens"

1. Come to **admission** and check in with a **counsellor**. 2. **Camp registration and medical form** must be complete — digital versions are tracked annually on our system. Paper copies are available at the facility. Complete before your child's first camp day: offthewallkids.ca/camp-registration 3. **Waiver** must be on file for the camper. 4. If forms or waivers are missing, you will complete them at the counter before check-in finishes. 5. **Balance payment** is collected at drop-off if not already paid. 6. Camper is directed to **party rooms** where camp programming runs.

During camp drop-off, we are **not open to the public yet** — only camp staff are on site. No other guests are in the facility at that moment.

"Pick-up — photo ID and authorized adults"

**Every pick-up requires photo ID** with a name we can match — driver's licence, passport, or similar government ID.

The pick-up person must be on the **authorized list** from your camp registration and medical form. Need to add someone? Update through the form process or **call the facility** if plans change.

If someone not on the list arrives, we **call the parents** to approve before release.

This is a **security feature**, not staff being difficult. A delayed pick-up because the wrong person arrived without ID, is not on the list, or cannot be verified pulls counsellor attention away from campers and delays everyone else's pickup. We need parents to treat this seriously so **your child stays safe**.

"Early drop-off and late pick-up"

**Early drop-off** extends by **60 minutes** before regular camp start. **Late pick-up** extends by **60 minutes** after regular camp end. The **full camp day rate applies** — you are holding a spot we cannot sell to someone else.

Options and pricing are on Bookeo when registration opens — confirm current fees at checkout: bookeo.com/off_the_wall_bookings

Typical camp hours are **8:30am–4:30pm**; always verify on the booking site for your week.

"What to pack"

**Must bring:** - **Socks** — everyone past admission needs socks, camp days included - **Refillable water bottle**

**Do not bring:** - Toys, electronics, outside food, or spending money for concession — we ask campers to wait until home for concession purchases so kids without money are not left out

**Sometimes — with parent notice first:** We may go to the **park or green space** behind our building (sunscreen recommended) or the **splash pad** (bathing suit and towel). Parents are **notified ahead of time**. On a normal day, campers stay **inside our facility all day**.

"Medication and medical needs"

Medication details go on the **registration/medical form**. Counsellors can help administer when appropriate, but children should self-administer when they are able. We cannot accommodate care that requires specialized training.

We have had campers with **feeding tubes** where parents come at **lunchtime** to administer — that kind of plan is arranged case by case. Email **info@offthewallkids.com** with specific needs before camp week.

"Counsellor ratio and who watches campers"

**One counsellor per 10 children**, plus other staff on site (admission and concession) who also keep eyes on the group.

"Can parents stay on site if a sibling is not in camp?"

Yes — but you are only supervising the child **not in camp**. The registered camper is under camp staff during camp hours.

"Bathrooms and accidents"

We rely on campers to handle bathroom needs independently where possible. Staff can assist, but **counsellors do not enter bathrooms** with children.

"Cancellations"

Camp cancellations follow our **day camp guide** — same rules as on the camp registration materials and camp pages.

After pick-up, want an afternoon of family play? Campers and siblings can return as drop-in guests another day — **donut slide**, **ballistics arena**, and the full indoor playground are the same **things to do in London** families come back for.

Camp drop-off rapid-fire

Photo ID every pick-up? **Yes — no exceptions.** Authorized list? **On camp registration form — call to update.** Forms due when? **Before first camp day — annual renewal.** Early/late care? **60 min each side — full day rate; see Bookeo.** Drop-in during camp week? **Yes for non-camp families — parent-supervised.**
