We get this email a lot. Usually right after someone has already Googled things to do in London with kids and landed on our indoor playground — donut slide, ballistics arena, jumping pillow, the whole list — and then remembered the dietary piece at 10:47pm.
We are Off The Wall Kids at 539 First St in East London (Argyle, near Fanshawe College). We are an indoor playground and a licensed restaurant. That second part is why outside food is not allowed for drop-in (formula, water, and baby food are the exceptions). It is also why we can offer gluten-free and dairy-free options from our kitchen with procedures parents with allergies actually care about.

Things to do in London when food allergies matter
A lot of things to do in London with kids are play-only — you drive somewhere, burn energy, then hunt for a restaurant that fits your crew. We built the opposite: one stop where play and food live under one roof and one allergy policy.
On a normal visit you can still hit every major activity in the building — donut slide (tube slide), ballistics arena, jumping pillow, ninja obstacles, volcano slide, toddler area — then eat in our seating area without leaving for a second stop. Drop-in visits — what GF/DF families need to know first
No outside food or drink past the admission counter except formula, water, and baby food. That includes "just a snack from home" and special cookies you baked for your child. We know that feels strict. It is how we keep traceability for every allergy in the building — not just yours.

Gluten-free & dairy-free pizza (parties and orders)
We source Dairy Free / Gluten Free cheese pizza. When we make it:
Cooked in our oven on its own tray Separate from other pizza on the line Clean paddle, clean cutter, fresh gloves, its own box — not touching regular pizza
That separation matters. A lot of "we have GF pizza" answers at other places skip the cross-contact details. We do not.
GF/DF pizza is available for party orders — order through info@offthewallkids.com when you are planning party food. Party hosts can also order regular pizza, platters, and more from our kitchen; included party food bundles applies at end of party.

We offer Dairy Free / Gluten Free cake for parties — arrives sealed from the manufacturer. Order through info@offthewallkids.com.

Nuts and manufacturer disclaimers
We do not bring nuts in or prep with nuts in our kitchen. We cannot guarantee every manufactured ingredient never contacted nuts at a supplier facility — no kitchen can promise that for every packaged product. We limit exposure where we can. Email info@offthewallkids.com with specific questions before party day or a first drop-in visit.
Drop-in vs party — quick split
Drop-in play — order from the concession menu at the counter. No outside food except formula, water, baby food. Unlimited play in the facility until we close once admitted.
Birthday party — food from our kitchen; GF/DF pizza and cake ordered by email. Outside inspected bakery cake/cupcakes allowed in party room only. 90 minutes in the private party room on schedule; guests may keep playing in the facility until we close.

Outside snacks for drop-in? No (formula, water, baby food OK). GF/DF pizza? Yes — separate prep; order for parties via email. GF/DF cake? Yes — sealed from manufacturer; order via email. Outside bakery cake at a party? Booked party room only — inspected kitchen + receipt. Nut-free kitchen prep? We do not use nuts — email for manufacturer-specific questions. Play still the same? Allergy planning should not talk you out of a full afternoon indoors. The ballistics arena does not care about gluten. Your job is tell us what you need at the counter or by email — ours is feed your crew safely and let them run.
