Come Play With Your Kids at Off The Wall Kids — Parents Belong in the Structure Too (London)

Am I allowed in there with them?"
We hear that question constantly from parents with littles — standing at the admission counter, looking at the structure, already assuming the answer is no.
**Yes. You are allowed. We want you in there.** Come play with your kids.
We are Off The Wall Kids at **539 First St in East London** (Argyle, near Fanshawe College). This is one of the biggest reasons families bring smaller kids here for **things to do in London** indoors — and it surprises people who have been told "adults stay out" at other facilities.
"Think of the whole structure as their play zone"
We have a toddler area for the smallest ones. What matters more for many families: **almost every level of our main play structure is built around five feet high** so parents can move through with a child who is walking and exploring.
If your little one wants to climb with you right beside them, you are not stuck watching from a bench while they disappear into a maze. **You can go through the structure with them.** That is by design — we built those clearances so adults and kids can explore together.
"Why parents assume they can't"
Parents tell us they hang back because:
- The inside of the structure looks tall or tight from the outside - They think they are "too heavy" for the equipment - Other indoor playgrounds have rules that **adults are not allowed** in the structure
Here, the opposite is true. Parent participation is a huge driver for families with younger kids. You are not weird for crawling. You are not breaking a rule by climbing. **Get in there and play.**
Older kids are welcome to have parents join too — just remember that when kids get bigger, some parents get more rough (throwing kids onto the jumping pillow, bouncing them hard, not watching smaller children nearby). Be the careful adult. Little ones share this floor with you.
"Where you can go"
Parents can go through **all areas** of the facility as long as you follow posted rules, stay safe, and use common sense around other kids.
**Encouraged:** main structure, jumping pillow, ballistics arena, ninja obstacles, toddler area — play with your kids, coach them, explore together.
**Ballistics arena:** join in — and know kids love shooting foam balls at adults. Fair game.
**Donut slide (tube slide):** be careful. **One person at a time**, recommended ages posted at the slide — please read the rules on site before you ride. Use at your own caution. Same structure people also call the tube slide; it is exclusive to our London location.
**Jumping pillow:** adults need **adequate space**. Do not jump near people, throw people on, throw people off, or do dangerous stunts. (Dads — we are looking at you.) Watch for smaller kids already on the pillow.
Rules for first visits and socks: offthewallkids.ca/kids-activities-blog/socks-waivers-and-first-visit-rules-at-off-the-wall-kids-london
"Socks, waivers, shoe covers"
**Everyone** past the admission counter needs a **signed waiver** and **socks** — any age, playing or not, sitting, standing, eating, or climbing. Digital waivers are valid 12 months: offthewallkids.ca/waiver
**Grip socks** are strongly recommended for slides and climbs — we sell branded grip socks at admission. Plain socks work too.
**Shoe covers** are available at the counter for adults with mobility needs — ask staff.
Wear clothes you can crawl and crouch in. Leave sharp jewelry and loose keys in a pocket or bag. Levels are about **five feet** — taller adults will crouch or crawl in sections; watch your head.
"A story we love"
We designed each level around that five-foot clearance so parents could go through with their kids. One child could not climb to the top of the volcano slide the first time — tried again and again until they made it. Parents encouraging. Parents climbing too. That is the visit we built this place for.
"You are still supervising"
We are a **parent-supervised facility**. A supervising adult **18 or older** stays responsible for the children they brought. Staff watch the building — not each individual child. You know your kids. Stay with them in the way that works for your family.
Photos: our waiver includes a photo release, but be aware some parents prefer their children not appear in other guests' photos. Stay present — phones can wait if you are in the middle of a climb.
