Additional Guests at Your Birthday Party — What Happens When You Go Over Your Package Count (Off The Wall Kids London)

You booked the 12-kid package. The RSVP list now says nineteen. Three grandparents texted "we're coming too."

This is what happens when **guest counts grow past your package** at Off The Wall Kids (**539 First St, East London**, Argyle near Fanshawe College) — extra kids, extra adults, billing, chairs, food, and the decision you should make **before party day**.

"Everyone past admission counts"

Your package includes fixed allotments for **kids** and **free adults / non-walking babies**. **Every person who crosses admission** counts — playing or not.

Two patterns we see constantly:

1. **Whole-class invites** — sometimes 30 kids RSVP and most actually show. 2. **Young birthday kids** — fewer kid friends but **every adult the child knows** arrives.

Both are workable. Both need a plan.

"Free adults per tier"

- **12-kid package:** 12 free adults - **24-kid package:** 24 free adults - **36-kid package:** 36 free adults

Parents and grandparents within your free adult count do **not** pay separate admission.

"Beyond your package — who pays?"

Additional kids (ages 2–17), adults, non-walking babies, and children 0–23 months **beyond your package** pay **general admission** at the front gate and are added to the **final party bill** — unless you arranged otherwise.

**Decide before party day** using the online guest list portal. Party parents can specify whether the host covers extra guests or whether extras pay individually at admission. That way nobody is surprised at the counter.

"Non-walking babies"

A **non-moving baby** (stays in a car seat the whole visit) has specific counting rules. A child who **crawls or walks** out of a car seat is charged at the **0–23 month admission rate**.

Babies count toward your guest list. Sometimes staff can shift a baby to an **adult seat** if you are under on adults but maxed on kids.

"18 chairs — plan for it"

Each party room has **18 chairs**. Setup is prepared for your **booked package count**, not unlimited extras. Additional guests may need to **stand**. We cannot pull chairs from other party rooms or the eating area.

If you expect a crowd, book the **24 or 36 package** up front — or ask if a **larger room** is available when you book.

"Siblings and extra kids — who decides?"

If a sibling or extra child attends, the **party parent** chooses whether to **pay for them as part of the package** or have their own parent pay admission. We do not police who is allowed emotionally into the celebration — but **party room space and package counts** are real limits.

"Billing — who actually shows up"

We bill for the **kids who actually attend** — with an important caveat: packages are priced **up to 12, up to 24, or up to 36 kids**. If you book the 12-kid tier and only eight arrive, you are still in the 12-kid package price bracket. If fourteen RSVP and fourteen show, you pay for the package plus **two additional kids** at admission rates.

Same logic the other direction: large RSVPs with smaller turnout still sit inside the package you purchased.

"No sticker shock on admission"

Extras pay **regular admission prices** by age — the same rates on our admission page, not a surprise penalty fee: offthewallkids.ca/admission-pricing

"Food credit and ordering more"

Your package **food credit is the same amount** regardless of how many guests actually eat. Food is usually finalized **before party day**, but staff review your order when you arrive — you can add or remove items before the kitchen fires your meal.

Need more food **during** the party? Tell us — we will get it going as fast as we can. Be aware parties are often spaced **30 minutes** apart and food prep can take **30 minutes**, so timing can be tight when the kitchen is between party orders.

"Upgrade if you can"

If your guest list grows early, ask about upgrading from 12 → 24 → 36 **while space exists**. Upgrading beats a stack of à la carte admissions on party day.

After the room time, everyone still gets the full facility — **donut slide**, **ballistics arena**, ninja course — for **things to do in London** until we close.

Overflow rapid-fire

Extra kid beyond package? **General admission on final bill unless guest pays at gate — you choose on guest list.** Extra adult beyond free count? **Same.** Only 18 chairs? **Yes — book bigger package if you need capacity.** Food credit grows with headcount? **No — order more if needed.** Bill for RSVPs or attendees? **Attendees — but package minimum is the tier you booked.**
