Volcano Slide at Off The Wall Kids — Exclusive Indoor Climbing Slide in London Ontario

It looks like a volcano. Kids climb the holds, work the structure, and come down the slide — and it is one of the landmarks families mention when they tell friends about **things to do in London** on a rainy Saturday.

We are Off The Wall Kids at **539 First St in East London** (Argyle, near Fanshawe College). The **volcano slide** is an **exclusive-to-London play structure** — part of our indoor playground alongside the donut slide and ballistics arena. This post focuses on the volcano experience: climbing, sliding, mixed ages, and how it fits a full visit.

What makes the volcano slide different

The volcano slide is a **climbing-and-slide structure** — volcano-themed holds, vertical energy, and a slide run that rewards kids who like to climb before they ride.

It is **not** the same as our **donut slide (tube slide)**. Different structure, different motion — tubes and racing down the incline on the donut slide; climb-and-slide on the volcano. Both are exclusive attractions at our London location.

Who loves the volcano slide

**Confident climbers** — kids who want holds, height, and a payoff slide at the end.

**Mixed ages** — littles build up to it with a parent right beside them; older siblings loop it while you stay in sight from the eating area.

**First-time visitors** — the volcano shape is hard to miss. A lot of families use it as the "start here" landmark, then spread out to ballistics, jumping pillow, and ninja obstacles on the same admission.

**Toddlers** — newly walking kids may watch first visit and tackle it next month. Our toddler area and walk-through structure layout let you stay close without splitting the family across the city.

Socks, waivers, and grip

Everyone past the admission counter needs **socks** — climbing structures and slides, same rule as everywhere else in the building.

**Waivers** for everyone past the counter — digital waivers good **12 months**: offthewallkids.ca/waiver

Grip socks ($3.54 at admission) are recommended for slides and climbs. Any socks work.

One admission — volcano plus the full facility

The volcano slide is included in standard admission. **Unlimited Play Until We Close** on regular days for walk-ins and online bookings — volcano, donut slide, ballistics arena, jumping pillow, ninja course, toddler zones, concession.

Check the **Today's Hours bar** before you drive. Private events use a **two-hour window** — we may open later or close earlier that day. Drop-in guests already inside clear the floor before the event window begins.

Parties, camps, and the volcano slide

**Birthday parties** — guests play in the full facility until we close. The volcano slide is part of the main playground, not locked inside the party room. Standard packages include 90 minutes in the private party room on schedule; unlimited play in the structure after that.

**Camps** — counsellor-led days use the full indoor playground, including the volcano structure.

Rainy days and the volcano slide

Grey sky, restless littles, everyone cooped up — the volcano slide is one reason families pick us when the forecast turns. More rainy-day planning: offthewallkids.ca/kids-activities-blog/rainy-day-activities-for-kids-in-london-ontario

Why the volcano slide matters for London families

London families have voted us **Best Indoor Playground** two years in a row through community votes. The volcano slide sits alongside our **donut slide** and **ballistics arena** — three exclusive-to-London structures that give parents a reason to choose us when they search **things to do in London** with kids.

We are not the biggest indoor play space in Ontario. We are a place where climbing kids get a landmark structure worth the drive — and a full afternoon of other attractions in the same building.
